Whooooooooooooo ........ they're out overnight. No more mucking out, even though I've only been doing weekends anyway!
My two went out with the herd again today. S seemed sound and seems to still be sound despite T making a VERY big deal about everything. I don't think they've stopped cantering circles all day.
Dragged them in for their tea about 2.30pm, fed them and chucked back out and they cantered off so definitely the right thing to do, chucking them out.
Mean owner here didn't allow them a few hours of eating haylage today because it means they'll want to come in tomorrow. They can have some tomorrow and set the routine for the summer of coming in for a few hours each day.
Gutted I couldn't take advantage of the GLORIOUS weather today and join L & J on a hack but mucking out, shifting pallets and trekking across the field to catch T for his tea have just about finished me off. Bugger off lurgy!!
Hacking tomorrow with H for a little tootle which shouldn't kill me :crossfingers:
I love summer :)
