Only for a little tootle round the roads but it was just what I needed :)
Tootling again tomorrow and then on Monday, think will get instructor to ride him for the whole hour and beg OH to come down and take pretty pics :)
Mum rode Squirt out too and I was foot soldier for B taking orange pony out on his first ever walk. Both were uber good ponies :)
Poo picked both fields - is such a ncie feeling when they're cleared, takes only about 10 mins a fied at the moment which is fab.
Fannied around a bit more and then came home. Just before bacon was cooked, farmer called to say he was on his way with hay so dashed back to yard and now I'm just eating my breakfast!!!!
BBQ apparently tonight at OH's friends. Yum yum.

I also am a obsessive poo picker - can't wait to get my own paddocks that i can poo pick to my hearts content!
ReplyDeleteSee, I hate poo picking BUT only when I can't clear the fields.
ReplyDeleteAt the moment, it's a 2 barrow MAX job to clear each field (4 horses in one field, 3 in the other) so we're all squabbling over it cos it's not a horrid big chore.
I still hate poo picking but I love clear fields more than I hate poo picking LOL

ReplyDeletePoo picking is wonderfully therapeutic - when it doesn't take hours and hours. I love seeing a nice clear field too. And then the beggars go and cr*p in it again!
