Had a lurvely tootle tonight.
Once again, had convinced myself he was lame and I couldn't ride him due to twisted shoe but today I took him round the block and he was pinging :) In a good way.
Stomped down drive, round the estate, took off up the hill (naughty boy but twas funny that he had gone "ooh stand like a good boy, give way to the car, WAHEY! CHARRRRRRRRRRRRGE up the hill" that it took me about 10 strides to pull him up cos I was laughing at him :Lol:
Only out for 25 mins. I love going for a little life-experience hack ie round the roads but am SO glad that we don't really have to do much roadwork if we don't want to. Should have taken him up the fields tonight, he'd have gone round at warp speed :)
Ponies moving into summer fields tomorrow. The one field has, LITERALLY, grass 12" long and thick and green. No idea where it came from cos just a couple of weeks ago we had none!
Pony shopping for friend tomorrow - exciting!

The boring rambles of a wanna be Dressage Queen.
The Obligatory About Me
I never really know what to write in these things. I mean, do you REALLY want to know how old I am? Do you REALLY want to know where I live?
I would imagine you don't really give two hoots!
But for those of you who do I am a 29yr old in the West Midlands, I have an artist/graphic designer OH whom I love very much, I have a job I love, I have a fantastic supportive family and I have my dream horse.
T-Jay is a 17h RIDxTB. He's now 11yrs old and I've owned him since he was just 2. We've been through many many pitfalls and bad patches but we're finally getting there. The close deaths of my 2 older horses in 2007 seemed to have made him finally grow up.
We are currently competing at Novice at affiliated and hoping to dip our toes in at Elementary in the not too distant future.
I set this blog up to chart our journey to affiliated dressage but we achieved that quickly so now it's just my ramblings.
The other horse that I refer to in here is my mum's pony, he's a 14h cob, 5 yrs old and another one who wasn't everyone's cup of tea when he was younger but has come good.
